1 litre of d-limonene (dipentene). This chemical is an aprotic solvent which is immiscible with water. It has a pleasant orange smell as it is derived from orange peel and is used as a clearing agent in histology, as a replacement for xylene or toluene, or as a green degreasing agent. Natural product not derived from petroleum.
